Luke Buckley is a multi-disciplinary creative with over 20 years of experience spanning film, music, and journalism. His work has been recognized by the New York Times, and a Gold Lion at Cannes, and he's built a full-pipeline skill set that runs from concept through final post-production.

In post-production, he's worked alongside agencies including Wieden+Kennedy, 72andSunny, Deutsch, Laundry Service, Swift Co., Arts & Letters, and R/West He also helps finish other studios' films, coordinating with post-producers, VFX compositors, colorists, and mixers to deliver across broadcast and web.


As a producer, Luke has made brand films and broadcast spots for clients including Sure, E! News, and Scripps Network, along with local television.

As a camera operator, he's shot footage for university research projects, brand films, music videos, Clark Vancouver Television, Pickathon Music Festival, and social media creators.

Luke started as a cub reporter, chronicling the lives of musicians, artists, and everyday people across the Southeast. As a filmmaker, he's worked with non-profits on documentary projects addressing voting rights, environmental protection, and LGBTQ+ rights, both domestically and`abroad.


He shoots and directs music videos for bands and artists, and brings a working knowledge of live sound to his film work. As a musician, he wrote and recorded an album with The Suzies and is currently releasing new music as a solo artist.

Luke holds a B.A. in Photography and Creative Writing and an M.A. in Mass Communication. He lives in the foothills of Black Rock Canyon near Joshua Tree National Park with his wife, son, flock of chickens, and three dogs.
